“Teachers who are committed to arts integration have a “what-if” perspective. They invite students to experiment, gather ideas, pose potential solutions, reflect, evaluate, and feel the joy of discovery” (Cornett, 2007). Students have the opportunity to develop in all areas, not just in subject matter, but also socially, mentally, personally, and emotionally.
I created and taught a total of three art integrated lessons. The following are my lesson plans that can be downloaded. If you hover over the "Arts Integrated Lessons" tab, you may click on a lesson to view it, see a sample, and download my reflection.
